Instructions for Android
To start configuring, you need:
- To have a corporate account in @sfedu.ru and the password.
- To delete the already configured SFedU network in the list of available networks. (Click on it and click the FORGET NETWORK button)
To download and install the SFEDU-CA certificate, you need:
- To make sure that your smartphone is connected to the mobile Internet or another Wi-Fi network.

· To run the certificate and install the certificate.
If you downloaded the certificate from a personal computer, follow these instructions:
IN your smartphone
SETTINGS — Wi-Fi - Additional settings -Install certificates - INSTALL FROM INTERNAL MEMORY (install certificates from media) — DOWNLOADS — Select sfedu-CA.cer and click DONE
· In the window that appears, select "Wi-Fi" in the "Used for" item. Then click OK. The message "certificate installed" will appear on the screen.
· Make sure that you are within the coverage area of the wireless network on the territory of SFedU or its divisions.
· In your smartphone SETTINGS - Wi-Fi - enable the smartphone to see wireless Wi-Fi networks
· Next you need to configure the SFedU network. Click on the SFedU network. A dialog box will appear.
· “EAP Method” select ”PEAP”
· “Phase 2 Authentication” select "MSCHAPV2"
· CA Certificate select “SFEDU-CA”
· If there is an item "Online certificate status" - select "do not check"
· “Domain” indicate “ad.sfedu.ru”
· “User” type the corporate email address @sfedu.ru
· “Password” type your password
· Click Save or Connect
The connection is completed!
